Dr. Bob Nease is a scientist, writer and thought leader on the practical application of behavioral science to our workplaces, our communities, and our everyday lives.
As Chief Scientist at Express Scripts, the nation’s largest pharmacy benefits management company, he led a team to help guide millions of patients to better health-related behaviors. Now Chief Scientist Emeritus, Bob continues to closely follow the emerging science of human behavior and choice, and works to develop innovative new products, programs and communications that help companies enable better behaviors.
Bob received his PhD in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University, was an assistant professor of Community and Family Medicine at Dartmouth Medical School and then an associate professor of Internal Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications, numerous articles for non-academic audiences, and a book on how to successfully apply learnings from the behavioral sciences in nearly any setting.
Bob and his wife Gina currently live on a small farm in rural Italy.
